Wayne's Rides
My parents bought me this '68 383
4-speed Dart GTS in '87 when I was 15 years old.......It was my first
car and I still have it........It's sat in my garage all apart a lot
more than
it's been driven.......I recently sold the 438" 383 out of it to Randy
F. for his '69 383 Roadrunner.

With the 438, my GTS ran
11.80's @ 112 on sticky tires........The new motor I'm building is
going to be a high compression 511" 400 with an aggressive solid roller
cam which should easily push the car to 125MPH+ in the 1/4...........

My goal with the car is
to get it into the high 10's on bias redline tires, or mid to low 10's with sticky tires, through exhaust
manifolds, with a 4-speed.........without nitrous..........UPDATE.......I've run the car with sticky tires and a stock clutch and it's been
10.86 @ 126.8 with a 60' time of 1.66........I can't leave hard or it'll run through the clutch, so I'm just driving it out of the hole easy
and then going wide open throttle.......I've got video that I'll post as soon as I get it up on YouTube.......

I've got '65 Plymouth
Belvedere 1 that I was building as an altered wheel base car, but since
it's not legal to race in the local headsup stuff because I've moved
the wheels, I've decided to sell it and buy a car that's
legal.......so, if you're interested in a '65 Plymouth AWB project car,

To replace the '65, I've
purchased a '69 Cuda named Brown Sugar from a friend of
mine........The car smacked the wall after coming down from a half
track wheel stand.........I've sold the motor because it wasn't legal
for the what I'm wanting to run it in.......I'm hoping to have the car
Race Ready by mid to late summer........
